Being raised in a family of entrepreneurs, Marcus began his profession in 1997 where he moiled at AutoNation as a manager and a salesperson. He later worked as an overseer at Holiday RV Superstores Inc for almost two years which was between 2001 and 2003. After gaining experience in the business industry, he co-established a firm called FreedomRoads which dealt with getting dealerships. In 2006 and 2011, his company consolidated with Camping World and Good Sam Enterprise respectively where Marcus was the overseer. After collaborating with NASCAR in 2004, Marcus and his colleagues decided to sponsor the company which was later renamed NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2007.
Marcus is also a sequent financier who helps companies that are about to close down where he invests in them and owns a share of the business.
