  Despite a limited release and just $1.5 million at the box office on Friday, Smart People (starring Dennis Quiad, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Ellen Page) still generated more news stories than Prom Night and Street Kings both of which were nationally released. Yet the Britney Snow horror flick managed to bring in the most money at Friday's box office with $9.5 million with Street Kings (with Keanu Reeves and Forrest Whitaker) bringing in $4 million and on pace for a $12+ million weekend.
